You will discover many points of interests, such as Montreal Harbour, Bonsecours Market Building, Place Jacques-Cartier, City Hall, Place Ville-Marie, Place des Arts, McGill University, Chinatown and Université de Montréal.

“Montreal Underground Pedestrian Network and Downtown core”

Discover our Interior Pedestrian Network, also know as the Underground city. Walking from the Promenades de la Cathédrale to the Place Montreal Trust going through the Complexe Les Ailes, will let you admire many work of arts and help you understand how Montrealers get to work, go out to the movies or go shopping without having to step outside.
After a short Metro ride (Montreal’s subway), you will arrive at the esplanade of Place Ville Marie. From there, you are about to embark on a subterranean architectural journey that will lead you through a temporal maze, right into the heart of the Quartier international. Discover the Square Dorchester and the Place du Canada. Appreciate the modern architecture, as well as several buildings dating from the last century, such as the Sunlife building, Marie-Reine du Monde Cathedral and the old Gare Windsor. Visit Place Ville-Marie, Central Station and McGill University. Hang out on Ste-Catherine Street, the most important commercial artery in Canada with over 1200 boutiques. Finally, you can visit La Place des Arts before returning to the Convention Center.
