Our Stakeholders

The WLA works with diverse, global stakeholders from across the lottery, sports and sports betting ecosystem, sharing best practices, and addressing important topics that impact our industry.

Membership

The WLA represents more than 150 state-authorized lottery and sports betting operators from 80 countries with combined sales in excess of USD 300 billion. Sales of games of chance and/or skill account for the majority of each operator's total annual gross revenues, and the majority of each organization's net revenues are dedicated to the public good. More than 70 gaming industry suppliers from around the globe support WLA lottery and sports betting operators in their noble mission of raising money for good causes.

Contributors

WLA Contributors are leading suppliers of the lottery industry. Deeply committed to the WLA, they form the bedrock of the association's relationship with the global supplier community and with the wider WLA membership.

Partners

International cooperation is what distinguishes the WLA as a truly global association, and nowhere is cooperation more important than it is with the regional lottery associations of Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America. The WLA also maintains close ties to other bodies, including United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports (ULIS), which fights against match-fixing and to preserve the integrity of sports.
