Membership

Becoming a member of the WLA is easy. Membership is open both to state-regulated lotteries and sports betting operators and to suppliers of goods and services to the lottery and sports betting sectors. Membership confers numerous benefits and advantages, including preferred rates for the industry-leading World Lottery Summit, and exclusive access to the WLA Data compendium, the world's leading research report focussing on lottery and sports betting operators.

The WLA is dedicated to supporting its members in their efforts to raise funds for worthy causes in their respective communities, while setting global standards for safe, responsible, and entertaining gaming products. The association affords its members an international platform for sharing technological innovations, lottery industry intelligence, and leading-edge marketing concepts; provides guidance on combating illegal gaming, match fixing, and other criminal activity that negatively impacts the sector; and much more.

WLA Regular Members are officially authorized entities that offer lottery games and/or betting games in a regulated environment. More than 150 state-authorized lotteries and sports betting operators from 80 countries spanning 5 continents are WLA Regular Members.

WLA Associate Members are suppliers of goods or services to the lottery and/or sports betting industries. Current associate members include suppliers of online and off-line systems, terminals, printers, video lottery terminals, ticket printers, game designers, consultants, auditors, and more. Over 70 industry suppliers worldwide are WLA Associate Members.

WLA Honorary Members are individuals who have made a significant personal contribution to the international lottery and sports betting industry. They include leading luminaries like the legendary Guy Simonis, responsible for introducing lotteries into North America almost single-handedly.
